Pie Club - Pre Order - Take-and-Bake - Fresh Baked
We are delighted to announce that Pie Bird and Wildbird Farm will be moving our retail offerings to the soon-to-open Wheat and Vine Provisions at 266 South Main Street in Doylestown in September! Our respective pie and flower businesses officially started in Doylestown with our first Farmers Market in 2021, expanded to Coterie Commons in 2022 and now to our new home in Doylestown at Wheat and Vine. This town has nurtured and supported our farm business, and we are so excited to offer a location to pick up our fresh pies, beautiful flowers, local fruit hand picked by us and a full selection of take and bake sweet and savory frozen items that have become a staple of our offerings.
Why Wheat and Vine?
Jessica, Wheat and Vine's founder, has built a thriving business in support of local makers. Through The Craftery Market, Makers Vintage and Handmade, and most recently, Wheat and Vine, Jessica consistently lifted up makers through her innovative business model and thoughtful sourcing. Wheat and Vine has partnered with Pie Bird for 2+ years and we feel so confident that our customers will have a wonderful experience shopping Wheat and Vine in Doylestown! (to learn more about Wheat and Vine's vision scroll down past 4th of July ordering)
What does this mean for Pie Bird and our so-very-special customers?
This move and our collaboration with Jessica and her team means increased and consistent hours of operation, a full line of pies, take-and-bake sweet and savory items all alongside the best local cheese, bread, and a variety of the best East Coast culinary goods for the modern pantry. The Wheat and Vine location offers ample free parking, and a place to grab a coffee and a Pie Bird hand pie 6 days a week! What it means for us is that we can continue to focus our energy on our farm and bakehouse operations, offer customers the consistent and increased hours you have been asking for, and be a part of a values driven retail experience that I just know you will love.
Timeline
July 1 - We say a fond goodbye to Coterie Commons. July 1st will be the last day The Farm Shop will be open at Coterie (although Annie will maintain her lovely flower studio there). Taylor and Kristin have an incredible vision to support and nurture community and fellow women business owners, our growth is an example of the success of this collaborative model and we sure will miss our tiny little shop! Be sure to follow them for updates on the space, new programming and how you can be a part of this thriving community of women.
July + August - You can continue to find Pie Bird at Early Bird and Luminary Coffee, Doylestown and Wrightstown Farmers Markets, special events like Tinicum Arts Festival and pop up pie sales at the farm. Wildbird will be hosting summer workshops at Coterie Commons and her farm, designing wedding florals and slinging bouquets at the farmers market, all while we anxiously await the opening of Wheat and Vine.
September - Wheat and Vine Grand Opening!
Thank you so much for taking this Pie journey with us. Our love for you goes deeper than pie...but pie is what brought us together and for that I will always be grateful.
XOXO Jen
